Eirk And Amanda's Wedding
Rachelle and I went to Erik and Amanda's wedding on June 6. No children, just the two of us. We both had a wonderful time celebrating the wedding. It was great to see all the relatives.

Potty Training
As some of you may know, we have been potty training Jacob this week. The accidents are getting less and less. Now for the big news. Jacob went to the bathroom on the toilet by himself. I heard some water hitting the water and went to look and there was Jacob on the toilet. My little boy is growing up. :-)

Jacob Playing with Little People
Jacob is playing with some new toys. At least new to him. I can see him having conversation with the little people.
Saturday's Adventure
Well today was a very fruitful day. While Rachelle was rummaging I packed up the boys and went to Maplewood Mall on the bus. After getting off the bus and walking half way to the mall, I realized that I left the diaper bag on the bus. By the time the bus got back to the mall the bag was gone along with everything in it. I just pray that the person who took it can use the diapers and two outfit in it.
Well after that I felt in no mood to go to the malls play area (those who don't know Maplewood Mall they have a play area for the kiddies). So Rachelle was done with her rummage sales. She picked me up and we went home.
After lunch I got ambitious to replace the broken radio with the factory model. Now I was not sure if I was able to do this but after an hour I replaced the radio and saved $30.00.
I was feeling better after that job well done. Rachelle and I packed up the boys and went to Living Green Expo. We actually had a good time. Rachelle managed to collect a dozen reusable bags and other free stuff. I had fun asking questions about some of the things that were on display. I rode on a Segway. It was funky to ride but I could see it being a cool thing to move around in.

Broken Window
This morning I went out to the van to go to work and found a suprise. Someone had broken the drivers side window and tried to jimmy the radio. I have no clue why anyone would want my cheap radio. The radio is broken and does not work anymore. They even did not even take the coins that was sitting in front of the radio.

Jacob's Birthday Party
We had a great day on Saturday celebrating Jacob's Birthday with family and friends. Fun was had by the children and adults. Jacob had fun playing in the cake with his new bulldozer. As Cousin Herb said "let him have fun with his cake." Don't worry the cupcakes were enjoyed by all.

Auction
On the way to church this morning we saw a sign for an auction. Of course now being married to a Richert we both had the idea of stopping and checking it out after church. It was kinda funny, Rachelle and the boys and I, in Sunday clothes, were looking and bidding with all these older men and women.
This was the first auction I had been to and I was very confused. I thought that it went way to fast for me. Rachelle with Richert blood flowing in her veins bought more than we have room for.
In all we got 4 boxes of books, two nativity sets, box of dishes and other stuff for just under $20. Rachelle said that there were cookbook, bibles, lutheran topic books. I think we did ok. A man came up to Rachelle and gave her a dollar for a book. I guess that is what happens at auctions. Vande Kamp Auctioneering conducted the auction.
All in all we did the Richert name well.

Trip to the Twin City Model Railroad Museum
Jacob and I went to the Twin City Model Railroad Museum. Jacob loves trains. You can hear him in the background tooting. Then we took the bus to downtown Minneapolis to ride the Hiawatha Light Rail. Before that I took some video of busses on Nicollet Mall.
